Project Background & Purpose

This demonstrates a multi-robot system where several Yaskawa robots perform real-time pick-and-place using 3D vision, with a collision-avoidance algorithm generating robot trajectories on the fly. When multiple robots share the same workspace, overlapping paths create collision risk — and slowing down to avoid it hurts productivity.
