Project Background & Purpose

W-Ecobot combines an AI device with a delta robot to bring an automated system to recycling facilities that once relied entirely on manual sorting. Recycling sorting has traditionally required people to visually inspect and hand-sort waste on a conveyor, making it physically demanding and vulnerable to labor shortages.
