WIM Selected for KODIT First Penguin Program (Apr 2025)

WIM was selected in April 2025 for the First Penguin program operated by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT).

First Penguin is a focused credit guarantee program for promising early-stage companies. Selected companies receive up to KRW 3 billion in credit guarantees over three years, along with a reduction in guarantee fee rates compared to standard guarantees. The program also includes management consulting and guarantee-linked investment, enabling early-stage companies with limited collateral to secure capital based on technology and growth potential.

With the guarantee in place, WIM is securing capital for scaling production readiness and supply capacity of the WIM Robot Controller, and for market development of the PLEM robot control software platform. Since its 2023 founding, WIM has developed a product delivering 1ms (1kHz) real-time control and 275 TOPS (INT8) edge AI compute in a single box on NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, and it is incrementally expanding industrial pilot references.

WIM will use the First Penguin designation as a foundation for next-round fundraising and stable operating capital, while using the management consulting program to build out organizational structure in parallel.

Founded in 2023, WIM is an AI robot control platform company. Its NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX-based WIM Robot Controller and PLEM software enable a unified control layer spanning cobots, 6-axis industrial arms, and humanoid robots.
