WIM took part in the 2026 INNOPOLIS × Florida Aerospace Ecosystem Partnership Program (August 2–9, Orlando), traveling with a delegation of Korean deep-tech companies organized by the INNOPOLIS Foundation as part of UKC 2026. The delegation's first stop was NeoCity, a semiconductor campus in Osceola County, Florida.

WIM builds robot controllers — the brain and the nervous system of a robot. In most robots today, one computer runs the AI while a separate controller drives the motors, and the conversation between them costs time. WIM brings both together on a single ARM-based SoC: AI inference and motor control, completed within one millisecond. One controller instead of two boxes — smaller, lower cost, and deterministic, which is exactly what safety certification demands. A controller like that is only as good as the silicon underneath it — so when the people building tomorrow's silicon open their doors, WIM shows up.

NeoCity is a 500-acre semiconductor campus that Osceola County built from scratch, on land it owns debt-free. It hosts a fab operated by SkyWater, the Florida Semiconductor Engine driving advanced packaging and reliability testing, and Plug and Play's only semiconductor vertical in the world. For WIM, a Plug and Play portfolio company, that last part felt like a homecoming.

The workforce story stood out as one worth copying: a STEM high school that reached the national top 40 seven years after opening, tuition-free college for every graduate in the county, and Valencia College building custom curricula for any company that lands there. Inside imec's lab, the delegation saw cryostats holding superconducting circuits at roughly 2 Kelvin and a probe station characterizing RF interposers up to 260 GHz.

"Robots are about to be everywhere — drones, manipulators, humanoids — and every one of them will need a brain that thinks and moves in the same millisecond," said WIM CEO Woojin Jeon. "Watching micron-precision probe work up close, I kept thinking about what this level of packaging will mean for the robot brains we ship five years from now."

European and South American manufacturers already operate at NeoCity through well-established pathways, and Korean deep tech is just getting started. Starting from robot manipulators, WIM aims to build a general-purpose AI robot control stack that extends to mobile robots and humanoids.
