WIM Raises Investment from Plug and Play (Jan 2026)

WIM, an AI robot control platform company, has raised investment from Plug and Play, the Silicon Valley-based global accelerator and venture capital firm, the company said in January 2026. The investment amount and valuation were not disclosed.

Plug and Play is a global accelerator and venture capital firm headquartered in Silicon Valley that has produced numerous unicorns, including PayPal and Dropbox. It works with more than 60 corporate partners worldwide, centering its activity on startup acceleration and global business matching.

WIM plans to use the investment to expand business opportunities in overseas markets, including North America, and to accelerate commercialization of its WIM Robot Controller.

At its core, WIM builds the low-level control layer that connects AI models to robot hardware, having developed its own controllers that integrate AI inference and real-time motion control on NVIDIA Jetson-based SoCs. The WIM Robot Controller delivers 1 ms (1 kHz) real-time control and 275 TOPS (INT8) edge-AI compute in a single box on NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, reducing the communication latency and integration cost of conventional split IPC, PLC, and GPU setups. Its PLEM software platform runs cobots, 6-axis arms, and humanoids from a single controller through a ROS 2-based interface.

Founded in 2023, WIM is an AI robot control platform company. Its NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX-based WIM Robot Controller and PLEM software enable a unified control layer spanning cobots, 6-axis industrial arms, and humanoid robots.
