WIM Selected for the Top 80 of the NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge 2026

WIM, an AI robot controller company, has been selected for the Top 80 of the NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge 2026, a global startup competition operated directly by NVIDIA. The program brings together AI startups across Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Taiwan to compete with AI solutions that solve real-world enterprise problems.
WIM entered with W-RC, its all-in-one AI robot controller built on NVIDIA Jetson, and PLEM, its robot control software. The controller integrates an AI inference environment and one-millisecond (1ms) real-time motion control in a single unit, reducing the communication latency and system complexity of conventional setups that keep the IPC and GPU separate. WIM has also taken part as a member of NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA's global startup program.
The competition continues through the semifinals in August and the finals in September, and the Top 20 companies will be invited to NVIDIA AI Day in Singapore. Selected teams receive support including pilot discussions with enterprise clients, connections to NVIDIA's global network of enterprises, investors, and institutions, and opportunities to enter the Asian market.
WIM CEO Woojin Jeon said, "On a global stage run directly by NVIDIA, we have a chance to show WIM's control technology," adding, "We will complete a general-purpose control stack that scales from manipulators to mobile robots and humanoids, so developers can build the AI robots they want without having to think about control."
The selection puts WIM's robot control infrastructure in front of a global audience of Asia's competing AI startups. Starting from robot manipulators, WIM aims to build a general-purpose AI robot control stack that extends to mobile robots and a range of working environments.
