WIM Advances to the Asia-Pacific Top 20 Final of 'NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge 2026'


WIM Inc. announced on the 28th that it has been selected as one of the Asia-Pacific Top 20 finalists in the "NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge 2026," a global AI startup program. The selection follows WIM passing the judging panel's evaluation at the Korea semifinal held on August 27.
The NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge supports growth-stage AI startups across the Asia-Pacific region in solving real industrial problems and driving enterprise adoption and business expansion of their solutions. More than 500 startups applied from across the APAC region — including Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Taiwan — and were narrowed through a first cut to the Top 150 and a second cut to the Top 80 before reaching the Top 40 semifinal stage; WIM has now advanced to the final Top 20.
At the Korea semifinal, WIM presented W-RC (WIM Robot Controller), a hardware controller that processes AI inference, real-time robot control, and industrial communication together on a single SoC (NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX), along with PLEM, the integrated robot control platform that runs on top of it. W-RC is designed so that swapping only the task module on the same hardware platform lets it be redeployed across a wide range of industrial sites, sharply cutting the cost and time of adopting a robot control system.
The final round and the corporate matching program will take place on September 22 at "NVIDIA AI Day" in Singapore, where the Top 10 selected will get the chance to showcase their technology at a global innovation event and pursue field validation and business partnerships with corporate partners.
